Cannabis and homeostasis
Our bodies have a specific sort of factors that need to be in certain ranges, both for body temperature, and overall, general pressure.Everything needs to be connected in order for it to work perfectly and properly balance. This is known as homeostasis, and cannabis plays a major role in this.
When Something’s wrong
Typically, homeostasis is when the operations are working perfectly, but the problem is, if things go wrong, what’s called negative and positive feedback loops happen. When the temperature increases or decreases, our body uses calories and perspiration to help with this, and when our blood sugar gets high, we tend to feel thirsty, and we use water to dilute this. We work to make sure that our bodies are properly working, and sometimes, trauma can cause things to just not work perfectly, no matter what you do, despite the efforts of the organs to return to the balances of the system itself.
Endocannabinoids and our body
The endocannabinoids are enzymes, lipids, and receptors. They do help with the hypothalamus, which is an important part of your brain, and they help to keep homeostasis between your nervous and endocrine systems, which is ultimately another type of homeostasis. The ECS does work to keep things functioning and steady on a daily basis, and when we experience pain, nausea, and the like, the system does help bring us back to the proper state. But did you know that we can have a deficiency. They’re naturally produced by the body of course and are manufactured in membranes and synthesized on an on-demand basis. The main thing about our body though is that if there are problems with our lipid messengers, we might not have the proper balance and optimization needed for the best results. Cannabis has Phyto cannabinoids that are derived from there, and they help with the receptors as well.
The Endocannabinoid deficiency
There is a possibility that there is clinical endocannabinoid deficiency, which means that if you have fibromyalgia, IBS, and migraines, you can be treated with cannabinoid medicines. These are all considered homeostasis disorders. They also don’t have symptoms, and right anow are considered more treatment-resistant.
There are some studies that indicate that there is a deficiency of this, and this is apparent through the treatment of cannabinoid medicine, or by measuring the tone of the study using advanced engineering technology. There is promise however, in the outcomes of patients with endocannabinoid deficiencies, and it can implicate your condition too. But the thing with cannabis is that it isn’t one that specifically targets specific areas, and it doesn’t necessarily treat the system that’s wrong.
That’s why a lot of people don’t like t, since it doesn’t just treat one specific symptom, but instead hits all the bodily receptors, and right now, it’s basically something that people write off. But you have to understand is that every single strain is unique, which means that it’s considered whole plant, and offers a variety of different effects. If you have one strain, you might feel relief, whereas the other might make you tired, high, or you might get the munchies as well. This can offer a lot of relief for those who do have a different amount of conditions, but the thing to understand is that not everyone’s really truly ready for that conversation, since in a lot of cases patients get hesitant on cannabis simply because it may work, it may not work, and that of course, is the dicey part of this. It does target some conditions, but right now, further research needs to be studied on this before they can do anything with it.
